The Salon de l’Agriculture from February 21st to March 1st is the country’s largest trade event of its kind, with over a thousand exhibitors and more than 3,500 livestock taking part. It’s designed for both professionals and families, too, with fun and educational spaces for the kids. Animal husbandry, hunting and fishing, market gardening, traditional farming and organic agriculture are some of the topics covered and there’s competitions in which to compete or simply enjoy.
The Mondial du Tourisme offers four days in the travel and tourism sector from March 19th to 22nd. There will be plenty of exhibitors, discussions, presentations and over 3,000 professionals in attendance, including travel agents and tour operators.
The Foire de Paris showcases the latest products aimed at improving your lifestyle, including wellness and health, garden, recreation, gastronomy and outdoor living items. April 29th to May 10th are the dates to mark in your diary.
Writers, publishers, agents, booksellers, readers and everyone else who has a stake in the future of books, bande dessinée and publishing will be interested in the Salon du Livre, a book trade fair with an international reputation. This runs from March 20th to 23rd, and this year’s international guest is Brazil.
Whether you are a golf professional or an enthusiast, the Salon du Golf from March 19th to 21st offers all the latest developments from your favourite sport. Last year saw 26,000 visitors and this 9th edition promises to be the best yet, with new and exclusive events and entertainment.
Later in the year, from December 5th to 13th we will see the return of the Nautique Show. Each year this huge event unfurls the latest creations in the boating world, along with the most up to date equipment and the offerings of exhibitors from all over the world.
A major coup for the Parc des Expositions Porte de Versailles in 2015 is in providing the venue for the prestigious World Gas Conference, the most important event of the International Gas Union triennium. With over 4,000 conference delegates from 100 countries expected, this major event will reflect the growing role of natural gas in the global energy mix.
