Exciting trade fairs in Paris for early 2015
Best wishes for the New Year from the whole team here at the Hotel Eden. In 2015 we will continue to bring you news of exciting events taking place in Paris. To begin the year, there are some exciting trade fairs coming to the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in February and March. The Hotel Eden, which offers an elegant and comfortable setting and a high level of service, is close to this world class venue, making your attendance at these shows all the more convenient.
Agricultural, tourism and book fairs at Porte de Versailles
International Agricultural Fair
The largest agricultural show in France goes from strength to strength. Taking place from February 21st to March 1st, this year’s show will draw an estimated 700,000 attendees. Divided into four sectors; agricultural services and professions, crops and plants, nature and lifestyle and products and gastronomy, it will feature well over a thousand exhibitors from 22 countries along with 4,000 animals. There will be plenty to keep the kids happy, too!
World Tourism Fair
Anyone with an appetite for new horizons and a need to find out what’s new in international tourism should not miss this comprehensive trade show taking place from March 19th to 22nd. As well as valuable resources for industry professionals there will be plenty of entertainment for young and old alike. Nearly 600 exhibitors are expected and the subjects covered will include travel agencies, tour operators, cruise lines, city breaks, bed and breakfast, wine tourism, and tourism and disability.
Book Fair
The world of publishing and books is covered both widely and in depth at the Salon du Livre from March 20th to 23rd. There will be themed areas for each publishing category, including Knowledge and Learning, Cookery, Art, Children’s Books and Science For All. Additionally, this year will see two new categories added to the roster; Tourism and Travel, and Manga and Comics. In attendance will be publishers, agents, authors, booksellers, librarians and many more professionals. The guest of honour country this year is Brazil.
