Where to dine in Paris can be quite a weighty decision. This is not down to a lack of choice, of course, but rather a surfeit of delicious and appealing options in a city which is renowned for fabulous dining and gourmet treats. When you stay at the Hotel Eden, however, you can rest assured that just a short taxi ride away are some supremely notable restaurants which will surprise and delight you. Evenings of superb flavours, unique ambience and richly satisfying experiences can be yours when you visit the Capitaine Fracasse, L'Arpege or L'Alcazar, each of which we'd like to tell you about.

Where to dine in Paris suggestions and recommendations

All aboard the Capitaine Fracasse for a culinary experience to remember. Established in 2004, this floating restaurant on the Seine is a trim craft which will take you for a two hour cruise past the city's most iconic landmarks while you dine. Departing from the Bir Hakeim bridge just past the Eiffel Tower, you will enjoy panoramic views from the restaurant, upper deck and terrace. Chef Martial Enguehard offers superb set menus and a completely unique, not to mention romantic, dining experience.

Close to the Rodin Museum and the Invalides can be found the warmly welcoming comfort and friendly staff of L'Arpege, which has been offering outstanding food for over twenty years. The flair and panache of rotisserie master Alain Passard, a genius of La Cuisine Legumiere, is evident in all his wonderful vegetarian dishes. With pear tree wood décor, Lalique crystal and earthy oranges and rich browns, the surroundings are a delight and the food even better.

L'Alcazar is a trendy brasserie designed by the English designer and restaurateur Sir Terence Conran. Simple and stylish, this glass roofed restaurant has a red and white modernist décor and a festive lounge ambience and features some of the best DJs in Paris. Chef Guillaume Lutard offers dishes inspired by both sides of the Channel.
