The first and the largest, It’s the Paris Motor Show
The great Paris Motor Show, an event boasting a legendary reputation, will take place from October 4th to 19th at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre. This is the place to learn the latest news in the automotive world and see multiple launches of new models that will be unveiled for the first time here. You won’t want to miss it, but remember, you’ll need somewhere comfortable and inviting to stay close to the Porte de Versailles so you won’t be wasting any time in travelling back and forth from the event. The Hotel Eden will suit all your requirements and we’re only five minutes by taxi or less than fifteen minutes away by Metro.
Paris; The world’s most essential Motor Show
When an event is as large and prestigious as the Mondial de l’Automobile, it attracts the biggest and the best. Running the gamut from Alfa Romeo to Volkswagon, the world’s biggest automobile manufacturers will be in attendance, as well as small, exclusive and specialized brands. As usual there will be prototypes and concept cars revealed to a waiting world as well as those scheduled to go into production, including vehicles from the world of motor sports. It’s a chance to become acquainted with the automotive world of tomorrow today!
Since its launch way back in 1898, when the event was inaugurated by the early French car manufacturer Jules-Albert de Dion and the Automobile Club de France, the 'Salon de l'automobile' (Paris motor show) has become a major launching platform for new models. This year we can expect innovations from Jaguar, Mazda, Skoda, Volvo, Bentley, Renault, Land Rover and Vauxhall, among many more. Additionally, some forty cars of the past will be on show in Pavilion 8 as part of the Automobiles and Fashion exhibition. This retrospective charts the surprisingly close correlation between the design trends followed by cars and clothing.
Speaking of design, another Paris event will take up the theme prior to the Motor Show.

It’s become internationally renowned; a byword for creative excitement and the place to catch the wave of the future, see what’s going to be hot next, and discover the talented young designers of tomorrow. Paris Design Week is a freewheeling, eclectic, diverse and thrilling time in the capital, with a lot going on. With around 180 venues and over 250 participants involved it can sometimes be a little hectic and confusing, but that’s all part of the fun, and we at the Hotel Eden will be more than happy to help you find your way around to the various locations involved.
