Paris Design Week is not just any single event or even a series of events; it’s a mode of thought, a doorway to a way of life, an atmosphere, and it all happens from September 6th to the 13th throughout the city. This is your golden opportunity to discover all the facets of design and follow your own particular interests via thematic itineraries. As is apparent from our own décor, design is a subject close to our hearts at the Hotel Eden, so we would be delighted to guide and advise you when you attend Paris Design Week.

Design Culture leads the way at Paris Design Week

Paris Design Week is inclusive, being aimed at both those in the trade and also the general public. Scheduled as an extension of the Maison & Objet interior design and home furnishings trade show, it also serves as an entrée to the range of fashion and design oriented shows scheduled for mid-September. Free ranging, it’s essentially unstructured, being a series of events such as shows, collection presentations and exhibitions taking place in a variety of venues all about the city. This freewheeling attitude is what makes Paris Design Week so appealing and so exhilarating.

Paris Design Week drew over 100,000 visitors in 2013 and more are expected this year. It provides a platform for both established designers but also those who are on their way up, shining a spotlight on exciting new talent. All aspects of design are included, so come to the international capital of design and share in this celebration of creativity.
