The Jardin Suspendu (Hanging Garden), the largest rooftop garden in Paris, is located at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre in the 15th arrondissement. Born from the imagination of the Passage Enchanté organisation, this Jardin Suspendu is a modern version of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. This unique planted space created on a vertical plane 27 metres above the ground uses a collection of planters and plant walls to create a natural climbing environment in an artificial space. Completed by a large collection of olive trees, lemon trees, Japanese maples, cacti and more, the 100 m2 Jardin Suspendu more than fulfils its purpose of bringing nature into the urban environment. A relaxing and inspiring Eden where you can enjoy some tranquil time away from the Parisian hustle and bustle.
